Happy Friday!
I am afraid I do not have anything new and exciting to share with you today as I am currently in Charlottesville, VA. Steve and I decided it was a good time to go back and see how my form compares to the last time I was here, and then see what we still need to work on.
We are very excited about it, especially as my strength coach Drew, travelled the 6 hours with us to get here AND Max (UVA Speed Clinic) invited a movement performance specialist/chiropractor to be there as well. I truly am building a team around me of people who want me to be successful. I know once I leave here I will likely have lots more to work on, with lots of ups and downs ahead, but so far it has been worth it, and I know making further progressions will only help my running in the long term.
So today, I would love for you to spend the time you would usually read my blog, listening to this podcast with my good friend Sarah Crouch. We talked about amenorrhoea, ovulation, body image issues, birth control, and much more. I learned SO much, and we went into the kind of detail that you won’t find anywhere else. As a woman, you NEED to take a listen to this 🙂 And I would of course love if you could share it!
Will report back from the Speed Clinic next week! If you want to read about my last visit, you can read about it here.
Have a wonderful weekend!

I’m so happy you’re building a great team around you to build you up! I hope you have a mostly good time, because I know it can be tough going though a day of pointing out weaknesses and imbalances!!! 🙂 I can’t wait to hear yet another great podcast from you!
Oh cool! Something to look forward to. Can’t wait to listen to your podcast. I’ll check it out during my treadmill run later on today!
I’m glad you have so many people able to help you Tina. It sounds like you are really building a great base and foundation.
Smart lady to build that team AND to make a return visit. I have been thinking about going back to my DC-based PT soon for a check in to see what might need to be tweaked in my routine, too. Looking forward to the podcast–actually, I just had a great idea! When I am making the long drive to Appalachia, I’m going to catch up on all kinds of podcasts!
Looking forward to hearing what you learned at UVA. Have a fun weekend
I definitely plan to listen to the podcast this weekend! And Im looking forward to reading about your results at the clinic. Good luck and have a great weekend!
Yay for a great team!!! Good luck today!
Such important issues on your podcast- that’s awesome. Enjoy your time in VA!
It’s so wonderful that you have a supportive and loving team of people to help you achieve your goals!
I listened to your podcast earlier this week and really enjoyed it – thank you for sharing the information that so many women need to hear!
That’s so great that you have this team around you supporting you. Can’t wait to hear how it goes!
I never thought I’d be glad to have a long drive ahead of me tomorrow but now that I have your podcast to listen to I am! Love that you’re building a great team to help you achieve your goals!
I hope things go well at the form clinic! I am downloading the podcast now to listen to tomorrow 🙂
That is so awesome that you are building great team around you!! Cant wait to hear about the weekend and I will check out the podcast!! You met my friend Claire recently – yay for a small world and she though you were great! I am so glad I could pass along the info to her! xx
I listened to the whole thing today (I’ve got ADHD, so this is a huge compliment lol) and I loved it! I pretty much learned that the only birth control I’ll ever use is condoms and Andrew hates them, so we’ll probably just have 6 more kids. HA! Kidding. (ish).
