Just a little update. As you know, I am the host of the Running for Real podcast, which is a year old and probably my favorite part of my business.
I love interviewing people. I love sharing too much. I love building connections with people all over the world.
If only there was a way to do it more.
Well, my friend James Dunne of Kinetic Revolution found a way. And he has been bugging me to give it a go ever since.
It is random. It is unedited. It is raw.
Today I am officially launching Tina4Real.
Now what is Tina4Real you ask?
A daily mini podcast covering all things in my life; life as a mother, my postpartum return to running, running advice I learned in my training as an elite runner, and much more.
I don’t really know where it is going just yet, nor do I know if it is actually wanted by you, my friends and fans, but I am gonna roll with it, take up James on his challenge, and see where it goes.
It will be a short (5-15 minute segment, five days a week), where I will just talk into the microphone and let the words tumble out as they often do.
The platform I will be using, Anchor, is wonderful, and you can download their app, listen directly on the page, or you can subscribe to it on iTunes/stitcher/pocket cast as a podcast (in a few days). Pretty cool, huh?
You can listen while you brush your teeth, while you wash dishes, while you drive to work.
Wherever you want…or not. Join me in this experiment, and lets see where it goes.
I don’t know about you, but I kind of like the little mini podcasts. As fun and in-depth the hour-long podcasts are, unless we are out running, we don’t really have many opportunities to listen to something for an hour straight, but we have lots of little chunks of time.
So, if you have a question you would like me to answer, it can be about anything, I can answer it on my show!
Or you can just subscribe and let the laughs begin…as in you will be laughing at me…not with me! I will be updating this post with the link to the usual podcast channels as soon as they have it up. For now, I am waiting for it to process in iTunes 🙂
Not that it is going to surprise you, but the first episode is about why we all need to STOP looking at our watches and run #nowatchme. If you need further convincing, you can check that one out.
If you have a question you would like me to address on my Friday show, if you download the Anchor app (yeah yeah, I know, anoooother app! The last thing any of us need), you can submit it from my page by clicking on the “message” button.
This app is pretty damn cool though, and you can start your own podcast SO easily if it is something you have always wanted to do!
