I mentioned a few months ago that I am really enjoying using Thrive Market for my healthy snacks to keep fueling my body with the diet changes that have helped me so far this year.
I said that Go Raw products were some of my favorite finds, and I looked forward to trying more.
I have also told you many times that I LOVE working with small, humble, genuine companies, and Thrive Market is a goldmine for those kind of companies. If you use the link above, when you sign up, you get an additional 15% off your first order 🙂
You know they care about the products they are creating, you know they care about what we are putting into our bodies, and you know they care about the world that we live in.
I reached out to Go Raw, and heard back quickly.
Lindsay was wonderful and encouraging, sending me a great box of products to try.
All based around one thing; the products are made of raw, simple, ingredients that are sprouted before processing.
What does sprouting mean?
Better if they explain it for you….as I am not good at this
“This (sprouting) process also multiplies available proteins, enzymes and minerals, making good food easier to digest and allowing the nutrients to be more easily absorbed by the body.”
This basically means they take legumes, seeds, nuts or grains and soak them to allow it to germinate and sprout. This changes the nutritional profile of the food, to make it slower to digest, which we all know is better for us.
Another thing I love about Go Raw?
Their products are all crunchy.
I LOVE crunchy foods! But they are not made crunchy by artificial ingredients, they are made crunchy by gently drying them to preserve the nutritional goodness from the ingredients.
I have tried all of the products they sent me, and have enjoyed them all.
The cookies are probably my favorite (I like the Spiced Chai and Sweet Crunch), closely followed by the sprouted pumpkin seeds that I love to throw on just about anything, as well as just eating them by the handful.
I was too excited to eat them, that I forgot to take a picture, but here you go 🙂 I will be showing you plenty more pictures of these delicious goodies!
As for their sprouted pumpkin seeds, oooohhh I have to restrain myself from eating a whole bag in one go. I have never tasted any seeds that are as good as these ones.
Now, you want some total honesty?
Of course you do.
Are you gonna get it?
Of course you are! It’s me!
I was a little skeptical about the Spirulina bar, and I am sure some of you would be too,
But let me say, it surprised me that I loved it so much (although Steve was not a fan, more for me, right?).
Another thing I love about these products, with all of them, you feel like you are getting the bang for your buck……if that makes sense?
As much as I love my Nutiva Coconut Manna (I really need to get them to sponsor me :P), you only can eat a little bit at a time as it is so calorically dense. These foods all give you a lot of food, and as they are crunchy or chewy, you really get to enjoy the experience of eating them.
We all get the afternoon munchies (well I do anyway), and sometimes even the late morning munchies, and Go Raw is my new go to for those moments.
I am excited to be officially adding Go Raw to my support network as my latest sponsor! I am a lucky girl with these great brands to fuel my training, and they really help me to chase my dreams!
Go Raw is GMO free, Organic, Raw, and Vegan, so hopefully most of you are able to enjoy them.
If you haven’t tried their products yet, go to their website, and I am sure you will find plenty that you LOVE!
I can’t wait to try out even more of their products in the next few months, and remember you can get them through the Go Raw website or through Thrive Market with the 15% off your first order sign up.[bctt tweet=”Need nutritious snacks to try? @GoRaw sounds amazing!” username=”tinamuir”]
